ÖZIV-certified accessibility
The new Gartnerkofelbahn, which opened last winter, is a 10-seater gondola lift that offers far more than just an improvement in comfort for each individual passenger. It is a real comfort booster and has been certified as accessible, which is good news for families with pushchairs, for example, as these can be transported free of charge.
The fact that the new cable car is accessible has been verified by ÖZIV, the advocacy organisation for people with disabilities. Level, obstacle-free entry and exit points, comfortable, spacious cabins and much more ensure accessibility and enable barrier-free enjoyment of the mountains at an altitude of 1,900 metres.
