The new Gartnerkofel cable car began its summer service in mid-June. Now you can travel up to the Gartnerkofel mountains in supreme comfort, with full accessibility and regardless of the weather. Prams, dogs and bikes can now also be transported with ease.

The "Zur Berghex" panoramic umbrella bar, situated at an altitude of 1,900 metres on the Gartnerkofel, awaits you with a brilliant sun terrace, delicious drinks and snacks.
And the “Nassfeld Cinema”, complete with a photo spot, now promises even more panoramic enjoyment.

ÖZIV, the advocacy organisation for people with disabilities, has assessed the new Gartnerkofel cable car. Level, obstacle-free entry and exit points, comfortable, spacious cabins and much more ensure accessibility and enable barrier-free enjoyment of the mountains at an altitude of 1,900 metres.

Every year in June, a special natural spectacle can be admired on the Gartnerkofel: the flowering of the strictly protected, unique blue-violet Wulfenia flower. It is extremely rare and, apart from Nassfeld, is found only in Albania and the Himalayas.
